Advanced Clinicals: Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Gel Mask Review | Part 2

Hi Friends,

Happy Tuesday! As I mentioned yesterday, I will be reviewing all 4 masks from the Advanced Clinicals Power Quad Face Mask Set.

Advanced Clinicals has 5 claims on the back of the Power Quad box for this Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Gel Mask but they are all generally the same claim and that is that this mask will improve / provide moisture for you skin to improve the appearance and youthfulness.

First thing that I noticed is the smell. It smells slightly of licorice but also slightly chemically but not in a really bad way but it is slightly unpleasant.

The texture is a normal gel mask texture, just as you would expect. It is not too thick but also not too thin of a mask, it has a good medium. Here is a little bit that I rubbed on my hand.

As far as how it felt on my face, it felt really cooling and moisturizing. I honestly didn’t have high hopes of this mask because I bought these masks at Marshalls and I just had it in my mind that they really wouldn’t be that amazing. I was really impressed by how it felt on the skin. I have this impression that when I can feel masks doing something on my skin, they work better. Overall, it felt really nice on the skin. Exactly how a gel moisturizing mask should feel like.

Another thing I liked about this mask was that it was easy to remove. One of my pet peeves with masks is spending 10 minutes to wipe them off but this one wasn’t like that. I only really needed a bit of water and a wash cloth and it came right off.

Overall, I really liked this mask. I haven’t seen any life changing results from it but I do think it provided a bit of moisture and was definitely relaxing and fun to use. I think it is definitely worth the $10 from the Advanced Clinicals website and I am looking forward to using it more.

Have you tried this mask? Let me know your thoughts down below! I would love to know!
