As you may know, Sephora gives out a gets a complimentary birthday gift during the month of your birthday just for being a member of their VIB member. This year, you have a choice between a Bite Beauty lip set, a Bumble & Bumble hair set, and a GlamGlow skin set. I obviously chose the GlamGlow set so today I thought I would share a mini review of the mini products included to help you make a decision on which set you should choose if your birthday is coming up!

There are two products included in the GlamGlow birthday set which are the famous SuperMud treatment mask and the GlowStarter moisturizer.

The SuperMud treatment mask is one of GlamGlow’s most popular products – I feel like I hear about it all the time from people. It is a very intense mask / spot treatment. It claims to help with acne, pores, and oiliness which is mostly perfect for my skin. I don’t really have oily skin but I do have acne spots. As soon as you apply it to your face, you can feel it working! It is super cooling and tingly. I love when you can feel a mask like this, it feels so nice and like it is working. It also makes your skin tight and feels pretty nice. I don’t like to use this mask too much in a row because I don’t want my skin to purge but I really do like it.

The other item in the kit is the Glowstarter which is a “mega illuminating moisturizer.” This is a moisturizing to apply under your foundation that will add a bit of shine to your skin! It is one of the most illuminating moisturizers in my collection. It makes your skin look so healthy, like  natural glowing skin. And it smells like vanilla – its so wonderful!

The standard size of the SuperMud Clearing mask is 1.7 oz and it retails for $59. This mini size is .5 oz. which makes it worth $17!  The standard size of the Glowstarter is 1.7 oz. and retails for $49. This mini size that is included in this birthday set is also .5 oz. which gives it a value of $14.  That is a great deal to get it absolutely free from Sephora!
