Time for my second month update for the Halo Beauty Hair, Skin, and Nails Beauty Booster vitamins! These are vitamins that beauty YouTuber Tati Westbrook released as part of her new brand Halo. I mentioned this in my 1 month update but I initially was pretty skeptical of the vitamins because they are pretty expensive and I didn’t know how much they could help me. I then started to see a ton of before and afters and I just couldn’t resist.
As the name suggests, these vitamins are for you hair, skin, and nails but I really bought them for my skin. I have had really severe acne lately and I was hoping this vitamins could help clear it up!
Before I started these vitamins, my hair was not really a concern of mine. I don’t really do much with my hair so I rarely apply heat to it so in general its pretty healthy. In my 1 month update, I had noticed that I was losing significantly less hair than I previously was. Particularly in the shower.
This month I have noticed that my hair has grown and looks more healthy. I didn’t really notice this last month and I didn’t really think it could look healthier but I am slowly seeing improvements. I don’t know if these vitamins are worth the $40 each month just for these slight improvements but they could be more drastic depending on your starting off point.
Now, like I mentioned, I bought these vitamins for my skin. And over the past two months, my skin has gone up and down. It seems to be getting better and then I’ll have a breakout. As I am writing this post, my skin is looking pretty good. I do think these vitamins are helping slightly but not enough yet.
I do think my breakouts have slowed down and they are healing a little faster than usual but I would really like to get to a place where my skin is stable.
I am definitely seeing nail growth this past month! I have a bad habit of biting my nails but this past month, my nails feel stronger so I am biting them less. But as I mentioned in my last update, I was taking biotin before the Halo Beauty vitamins and it was having a similar affect on my nails. And biotin is much more affordable.
So since my last post, Tati announced that they are releasing a new vitamin called the Kiwi Seed Booster which is specific for skin. I am definitely tempted to buy this because it seems like it is focused more on what I need instead of having extra ingredients for hair and nails which I am not concerned about as much.
I, of course, have to finish my third month of the Hair, Skin, and Nails Beauty Booster before I make any decisions so stay tuned!
I am not sure how I feel overall about these vitamins. I am definitely seeing slight improvements here and there but I am not blown away yet. At this point, I don’t think they are worth the money but I still have another bottle so I am excited to see how one more month goes.
Let me know below what you think of beauty supplements! Are you taking any? Do you find them helpful? I would LOVE to know!
