Cargo Cosmetics: The Big Easy Powder Blush Review

Hi Friends!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day so far! Today I wanted to talk about the Cargo Cosmetics blush in The Big Easy. This is one of the products in my Project Pan: 18 in 2018 so I have been getting a lot of use out of it. I already hit pan before I started the project but I have just been continuously using it and continuing to LOVE it.

Let’s talk about the packaging. I usually always like to start my reviews off with the packaging because I think the packaging can sometimes make or break a product. Fortunately, I really love the packaging for this blush. The outer packaging is this strong, thin cardboard material and I love the black and white styling. I also really love the silver tin. I just think it is a unique way to package a blush!

For me, this is easily an everyday blush for me. This blush is described as a “sheer pink with gold and red grapefruit undertones” according to the Cargo Cosmetics website. I would describe it more as a peachy pink with soft gold reflects. I will say this blush does have extremely small reflects of glitter in it. I know a lot of people don’t like that so it is something to consider before purchasing. I personally don’t really notice the reflects once applied to my cheeks though.

This blush can come across quite sheer but can easily be built up to be more intense and rosy. I usually apply a lot towards the back of my cheek bone pretty heavy and then just add a brush on the roses of my cheeks. I just love the way it applies and wears on my cheeks.

This is the only item that I have tried from Cargo Cosmetics but I am really excited to try more from them. I am really in love with this blush. I already have a backup! If you are looking for a new blush, then I highly recommend this one. You will not have any regrets. It is $26 so its kind of expensive but it will last forever so its definitely worth the money.

Have you tried this blush or anything else from Cargo Cosmetics? What is your favorite blush? I would love to know!
