BECCA: Apres Eye Lights Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches!

Hi Friends!

Today I wanted to talk about the Becca Apres Eye Lights Eyeshadow Palette! I bought this palette awhile ago because it was on sale and after using it for awhile, I wanted to share my thoughts! Becca is one of those brands that just sucks me in, it is just a very classy and quality brand.

For this palette, I wasn’t initially that interested because it doesn’t have a lot of shade options and is a kind of expensive palette. However, once it went on sale, I had to swoop it up. It is one of those palettes that although it doesn’t have any matte shades, you can use each of these shades alone as a full look or with a companion palette that has some matte shades.

The packaging for this palette is actually so beautiful. I know a lot of people don’t like circular palettes because they are hard to store but I think it works for this palette. The front of the palette has frost all over it which I thought was unique and perfect for holiday. It also has a huge mirror in it which is wonderful.

This palette includes 7 shimmer eyeshadow shades.

Pearl – This is an off white shimmer shade. It looks super white in the center of the palette but it doesn’t come across as stark in the swatch or on the eyelid. This is a really nice inner corner highlight too!

Rose Quartz – This is a beautiful rosy pink shimmer shade. I love this shade by itself on my eye lids. It just looks really calm and classy.

Moonstone – This is a yellowish shimmer shade.

Opal – This is a light gold shade. I think it is similar to Becca’s infamous highlighter called the same name (opal) but it is just for the eyes.

Topaz – This is a deeper gold shimmer shade. I think it is my favorite shade in the entire palette.

Toasted Marshmallow – This is a brown shimmer shade. It is probably the least shimmery / sparkly shade in the palette. It is still beautiful and can definitely darken up a look pretty quickly.

Hot Cocoa – This is a red orangish shimmer shade. Similar to Toasted Marshmallow, this is less shimmery / sparkly than the other shades in the palette. It is probably the most unique though.

This was a limited edition palette that was released around Christmas time but it still is quite beautiful. I would definitely recommend Becca eyeshadows in the future. Do you have this palette? Do you love it or hate it? I would love to know!
